What is NAMIS?
NAMIS (the National Agricultural Management Information System) is the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Blue and Green Economy's online platform for registering producers, applying for permits and licences, and tracking applications from anywhere — replacing paper-based processes across both the agriculture and fisheries sectors.
Whether you're a farmer, fisher, vessel owner, agro-processor, or huckster, NAMIS lets you register your profile, submit applications for the permits and licences you need, and follow their progress online — receiving an email the moment your application needs attention or is ready.

Our Divisions
NAMIS serves the divisions of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Blue and Green Economy.
Agriculture Division
The Agriculture Division is structured into seven distinct agricultural regions, each contributing to promoting sustainable farming practices and supporting agricultural development across the Commonwealth of Dominica, through units covering Plant Propagation, Plant Protection and Quarantine, Livestock Development, Extension Services, and Policy Formulation and Administration.
Mission
To accelerate sustainable agricultural growth and development by developing, formulating, and implementing policies and programs which enhance competitiveness and productivity, and facilitate greater responsiveness of our clients to manage change.
Vision
To be the most efficient Division of Government providing high-quality extension, regulatory, and support services to its clients which add value to agriculture and related sectors.
Fisheries Division
The Fisheries Division is mandated under the Fisheries Act No. 11 of 1987 to manage the affairs of the marine environment, through units covering Extension, Scuba Diving, Data/Fisheries Resource Management, Research/Aquaculture Development, Fish Marketing, and the Marine Mechanic Unit.
Goal
Sustainable development of the living marine resources to meet human nutritional needs as well as contribute to national social, economic, and development goals, taking into account traditional knowledge and the interests of local communities, small-scale/artisanal fisheries, and indigenous people.
Mission
To create an enabling environment for employment, enhance food security, reduce poverty, and contribute to economic diversification in Dominica.
Vision
To be recognized as an efficiently managed government agency by fishermen, related institutions and the public at large, delivering high quality support, research, development and regulatory services to the fisheries sector.
